08/09 Girls Bring Home the Championship!!

The 08/09 Crush girls went to State Cup and brought home the CHAMPIONSHIP! We started slow in the semi finals and won 1-0 in Overtime. Lilly C went down the left side and crossed the ball to the middle of the box and Kayleigh scored the game winning goal! In the finals, we dominated the other team. We won 3-0: goals from Lily C, Sara Beth and Kameryn. The girls played their tails off! Next up we will be the 1st Crush team to play in the Presidents Cup in June against other teams from the South Region!!!
Lily C was the player of the weekend with 1 goal and 2 assists!!
Special shout-out to Bailey K for her role as assistant coach and keeping our Defense in shape and marked up!!!

’08 Opelika Crush Girls Bring Home Tupelo Spring Classics Championship

The ‘08 girls played 2 good games and came home Tupelo Spring Classic Champions!! They scored 12 goals from 8 different girls and our opponents scored 0! They passed the ball, switched the field of play and worked hard for each other! Our standout player of the tournament was Goal Keeper, Ollie Womack! Unfortunately, our tournament was cut short due weather damaging the soccer complex early Sunday morning. But these young ladies had the win sealed up after game #2!

Spring 2021 Registration is now open for all NEW PLAYERS to the club! Fees for Spring are $300 and there is an option to pay in full or by three monthly payments of $100. Parents, please do not register here if your player was with us in Fall 2020. Coaches will be reaching out to Fall players and you will be invoiced your Spring 2021 Season Amount on the already completed player account.

Please note: All past and/or current fees must be satisfied prior to the start of the Spring Season.

08/09 Girls Gatlinburg Labor Day Invitational

08/09 Crush Girls

The Crush 08/09 girls played in the Labor Day Invitational in Gatlinburg, TN. The players competed against three Division One teams, two which were ranked. Crush girls won two games and lost one in group play, securing their spot to the finals. Crush 08/09 girls beat #36 in the country Knoxville TN 1-0. They went on to defeat Trussville 2-1. Though it was a hard played match, Crush girls lost to the #3 team in South Carolina. Every girl on the 08/09 team played their hearts out! This team is talented, focused and driven. When Coach Bullard was asked for his thoughts, he stated with pride, “I am honored to get to coach such an amazing group of girls. They are a team!” Opelika Crush coaching, staff and parents are very proud of your accomplishments!

Registration Announcements and Important Dates to Remember for Summer/Fall 2020

Please click on summer training image or go to to register for non-crush summer training. (Summer training is already included for those playing Fall 2020 Crush Season).

Please mark your calendars for the following dates. We do not see anymore changes regarding the summer schedule, but please note dates/times are subject to change. If you are registered for Fall 2020 season, summer training and pre-season camp prices are already included in Fall fees. However, for those interested in training for the summer only, registration link will be provided soon. For all non-Crush players, the fee for summer training is $125.

While we continue to prepare for our return to soccer, we are excited to announce that Opelika Crush Tryout and Evaluation registration is now OPEN for the upcoming 2020-2021 season.

Tryout and Evaluation Dates
Tryout and evaluation dates are split across age groups and currently scheduled for

June TBD, 2020: Tryouts for 13U-19U Boys and Girls (Players Born Between 2008-2002)
June TBD, 2020: Evaluations for 9U-12U Boys and Girls (Players Born Between 2012-2009)

Age group tryout and evaluation schedules with field assignments, tryout number pick-up dates, and coaching assignments are being finalized and will be posted to Crush News and sent out to all registered players.

Note – Tryout and evaluation registration is being managed through GotSport. Whether you previously had a GotSport account or not, everyone will need to create a new account to register as this is the Alabama Soccer Association’s new registration system for the 2020-2021 season.

Crush Player, Ellis Mount, signs with Faulkner University

Congratulations to Senior Midfielder Ellis Mount as he announced his commitment to play soccer for the Faulkner University Men’s Soccer team. Ellis is a tremendously gifted central midfield player with an immaculate first touch and a brand of toughness that makes his opponents uncomfortable throughout the game. Ellis was recently named the Opelika Crush College Prep team “Player of the Year” and recognized as the player with the most “Relentless Improvement” for the entire club. We can’t wait to experience his talents during his senior season and we are thrilled he will continue to play the beautiful game at the next level. Go Tigers!

Crush Player, Cam Burnett, signs with Faulkner University

Congratulations to Outback Cam Burnett as he announced his commitment to play soccer for the Faulkner University Men’s Soccer team. Burnett has played with the Opelika Crush College Prep team under the coaching of Steve Charlot. Cam is a Senior at Smith Station. 

We can’t wait to see Cam on the field, representing Faulker. Opelika Crush is very proud of you. #CrushNation
